Suatu senja setelah shalat maghrib berjama'ah, masih memakai mukenanya Faza meraih tangan umi dan menciumnya seraya berkata,

"Faza punya pertanyaan untuk umi,"
"Pertanyaan apa?"
"Berapa satu dtambah satu ayoooo....?"
"Hmmm.... ayo berapa satu tambah satuuuu?"
umi balik bertanya.
"Pertanyaannya itu buat umi, umi dong yang jawab masa Jaju lagi?
Ucap Faza sambil mendelik lucu lalu mengulang pertanyaannya.
"Ayo berapa satu tambah satu?"

"Satu tambah satu ya dua. Ya kan?" jawab umi.
"Salaaaaah......heheheeheee!" serunya sambil tertawa.
"Berapa yok miii, satu tambah satuuu?? Tanyanya lagi dengan menggoda.
"Berapa yaaaaa...... ya dua kakaaak....." jawab umi membalas.
"Bukan umiii..... Umi mau tau jawabannya?"
"Berapa dong?"
"satu tambah satu itu, dua puluh tujuh umi!"
katanya serius, matanya membulat menegaskan ucapannya.

"dua puluh tujuh? dari mannna??"
Umi balik bertanya. Umi sedang gak nyambung, umi pikir memang satu tambah satu sama dengan dua.
"umi mau tau, satu tambah satu sama dengan dua puluh tujug itu dari mana?" tanya Faza lagi.
"Iya umi mau tau, Faza mau kasih tau??" jawab umi.

"Kalau kita berdiri umi, sholaat, sendirian, pahalanya satu umi! Tapi kalau tambah satu orang lagi, sholat di sebelahnya, pahalanya jadi dua puluh tujuh umi!!"
Serius sekali jawaban Faza, matanya membulat lagi dan telunjuknya teracung naik dan turun seperti memberi instruksi.
"oooohh iyaaa.... oooh itu toh maksud Faza. Umi baru nyambung!" umi menepuk jidat sembari tertawa, ya, ya, ya, pastinya satu tambah satu sama dengan dua puluh tujuh!
"Jadi umi, kita harus solat jamaah terus, supaya kita dapatnya dua puluh tujuh umi! Banyak! Kalau sholat sendirian, kita cuma dapat satu, sedikit! Ya kan umi?"
"Iyaaaa..... in sya Allah kita terus sholat berjamaah ya nak!"

Hehehee...... Umi bangga dengan anak-anak umi!

"Bismillaah... Robbi ij'alni muqimas shalati wa min dzurriyyati, Rabbana wa taqabbal du'a..
Wahai Tuhanku, jadikanlah kami orang-orang yang mendirikan shalat, dan juga keturunan kami,
Wahai tuhan kami kabulkanlah doa kami....."

Eid Mubarak

Ummi said today is the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, my brother and I were woken before dawn, we drove to Samboja for celebration there. We bath with warm water and then put on warm clothes. Ummi said we were going to wear our best new clothes after we reached. Since it was still early, we went back to sleep along the journey.

Ummi wake us once we arrived at Granny's house. We prayed Eid at the mosque near our great grandpa house. After pray we'll get ready for Sungkeman, ummi said it is a greet event to forgive each other. Even ummie and abi did it too, and also me and my brother. I asked why all the family to apologize, do they all do wrong? Ummi said yes, we all have faults, sometimes unintentionally. May be harsh words, misunderstandings, or unpleasant attitude. If we forgive each other, then we have no more mistakes and God will love us. I ask again, whether as when I apologize to you for not obey your words? And umi said yes, it could be, as long as after the apology we must try not to repeat that mistake again.

on that day I was much astonished, why all the people had tears while they were shaking hands and hugging each other. Why were all sad and then laughed. Ummi said it was not solely because of sadness, but also happy. It's the compassion. We’re sad because we were guilty and sorry, but we’re also happy because we forgive, be forgiven, and most importantly, because we’ve met all the family. Abi, Umi, grandparents, great grandparent, uncles, aunts, cousins​​, everyone! The most amazing thing as well on that day was a lot of foods that were delicious! Bon appetite!

At the end of the day, when we want to go home, I sat on the patio with my great grandpa. we talked but I forgot what he said. I was happy to accompany him. I told ummi that I felt sorry for him, he used to sit together on the patio with our great granny, but now he sits alone because our great granny had just passed away. Ummi smiled and said that our great granny will always accompany great grandpa, we just could not see her as she had gone. Ummi then asked me to accompany him again, and I said, "I've done it before you told me, my loving ummi!"

May I Play In The Clouds?

One afternoon on our patio…

We’re staring at the sky and talking about clouds.

“ummi, I wanna play in the clouds! May I?”

“of course I allow you to play there, I’m just afraid you can’t.”

“why can’t I?”

“because you can’t step or sit on a clouds.”

“why is so?”

“you’ll get wet.”

“why is so?”

“because it’s actually a water droplets.”

“water droplets? Like?”

“like rain droplets, but even smaller.”

“then why it looks like cotton?”

“because it’s up very high in the sky and the weather up there is veeeeery cold.”

“like in a freezer?”

“yes, like that.”

“is it frozen?”

“no, the clouds is not frozen. But the droplets are very close to each other, and theres are soooo many water droplets, say millions… so if we take a look from here in the earth, it looks like pillow, like cottons…”

“woowww? Really? Like rain?”

“ya, if u think so”

“so I can’t play there coz I’ll get wet?”

“yes, dear!”

“yaaahhh……”

“don’t worry, you still can see it up close, and it would feel like going there in real.”

“really? How?”

“let’s travel somewhere by plane! And we can fly above the clouds, fly arounds it, and see it up close from the window!”

“wow…. Like abi always do? Then when will we do it?”

“be patient then, one day ok?”

Why Urine Felt Warm?

One morning….

“Ummiii ummii!!!”

Faza ran out the rest room and yelled then ask a question,

“Mi, why our urine felt warm?”

“wanna know why?”

“yaaa..!! I took a pee and it felt warm. Why?”

“because our body store heat, and the heat will release thru urine.”

“why our body store heat? Am I sick?”

“no, u’re not sick honey, it’s normal. The heat inside our body makes us stable, so we won’t get cold.”

“then why is it so warm?”

“because its cold right now, so it’s felt warmer.”

“what if I’m sick?”

“you’re not sick Faza, you know when we’re sick, we have to drink plenty of water so the heat will release thru the urine, it will help to get well soon.”
